Rear seat
Has anyone ever tried to put bucket seats in the back of a TJ? I hate the bench seat and thought that it might be easier to simply flip one over if needed.
It's pretty tight back there I know...

Remember the front seats are sunk while the back seat is higher, so if u put buckets in the rear I figure 1 major problem the seat may be too high and the pass will hit his head on the roof.
No, but putting a set of YJ low back seats, has crossed my mind.
More so, I've been toying with the idea of one seat. Would leave room for my cooler, etc.
Though I would want to make sure its secure properly with grade 8 bolts, doubler plates, or to the frame.
Just idea's that rattle through my head when I am sitting at my desk, pretending to work.

Mr. White... your right but doesn't the brackets for letting the front seats fold forward contribute to it's hight? Without this I might have a chance... would look cool with buckets in the back and no hardtop! I still have to check and see if the width will look.
