New 2001 TJ owner 4.0L 5spd
 

Just bought a 2001 Jeep TJ yesterday, Have a 2009 Cherokee but its the first time Ive owned a TJ. Love the vehicle so much! its a 4.0L 5 speed. Anything I should know about these vehicles? The transmission seems like it may have been abused in the past. Are these vehicles really hard to kill like I've heard from other people?

Also, Am I able to engage the 4x4 while the vehicle is moving or does it have to be stopped? Thanks in advance!

Enjoy your new machine! Should be able to switch 4x4 hi while driving but have to stop and shift on neutral to go 4Lo, engage 1st gear and go!
