my dash has gremilns

My buddy unpluged his instument panel pluged it back in and all the gauges will not read a thing anybody have any ideas on what's happenin

disconnect it once again and recheck that nothing is bent or out of place and CAREFULLY reconnect..
Let me know.
Also what year is it?
