Canada Locking Hubs

Was looking in a catalog the other night and see where Mile Marker makes a kit to put locking hubs on a TJ...... The price is around $900.... I was thinking I could come in way under that.....

Ford Ranger locking hubs and outer axle shafts are my start..... was wondering what else I might need.

2003 TJ Stock.

Looks like the Ranger locking hubs work, have to make sure rims and rotors will jive. I am trying to find our about the spindles...... will Ranger ones work or will I have to buy from Warn or someplace else.

I seen this done in a magazine years ago.... the project JEEP was called Teal J........ My ex cleaned out my MAN cave and tossed out all the cool stuff....... never toss out a guys stuff.......

From what I understand you are thinking of grafting ttb d35 stubs onto the d30 knuckles. I don't have the parts in front of me so I'm going from memory here. The d35 stubs are originally attached with six studs whereas the d30 unit bearings are attached by three bolts from the rear, that would be one issue. The other thing that springs to mind is the distance that the disk sits from the mounting surface of the stub, and if memory serves correctly it would place the disk about two inches further out which would make caliper mounting a bit of a challenge.
