Locker for my 97 TJ
I'm stumped, getting ready to buy lockers and i'm not sure what way to go, i'm seriosly thinking about getting OX lockers, but i don't know anybody with them. i know EATON and AUBURN are both reputabl names, however, i like the idea of manual....
So i guess my question is, what locker should i go with? Any input would be apreciated :dunno: |
Re: Locker for my 97 TJ
newbee97. From what I've heard some of my friends and read on line the manual OX lockers are the way to go. No worries about electronic crap or vacuum lines. Hope this helps in your selection.

Re: Locker for my 97 TJ
Well, I finally finished this project... I ended up with 4.88 motive gears, miller locker in the rear, eaton elocker up front, some home made gussets, 36x13.5 15 IROKs on 15x10 American racing round hole polished.... So far I'm pretty dam happy with the outcome, it's strange having 36s and my speedo is 7km out at 50 kmh ( 57 is 50, it's always been the other way lol) I still like the OX idea, but it was a little too pricey for my liking, $1025 for the e locker was doable... Next is sye and tummy tuck,(home made tt, 5/8 tooling aluminum) I just happen to have a chunk laying around.
