Better check the rulebook, BC changed that section of the highway act a couple years ago and the only Jeeps that were exempt were CJ's and older and only if you could prove that it came from factory without doors.
Tube 1/2 doors have to be DOT approved for Canada and so far I've only heard of 1 place that is considering going through the hassle of getting them approved here.

If you drive with the window down on a public road, you will get stopped and probably get a ticket. It is a safety issue.
A couple of years ago I saw a chap driving down the 417 in an older Land Rover with the window down. I wonder how far he got before being pulled over?
