Jeep TJ 2005 : to sell or not to sell?
 

197000Ks. I'm looking at having to get work done to keep on the road. But I'm now thinking it may be worth it to invest in getting repairs. Rather than take to the dealership (where've been going) Id like to get an independent diagnostic done to calculate if its worth it to repair or start looking for new model. Can anyone recommend in the Toronto GTA where I can go?

I cannot recomment any help in To but if your frame is still good not rusted, motor wise u have the in line 6 (i am quite sure)
which is a great motor and good for at least another 100000 K... I would be inclined to keep it as really don't think your going
to get more than 10,000. for it. Depends on also what options you put on or what it has on it. I have mine up for sale at 10k
but its a 2003 std, etc. Now if you have rusted side panels, fenders,windshield frame, floor rust it may cost you $3000 + it
did me a few years ago. Think what it will cost to repair it then go from there.

Thanks for the response. Since posting (per the garage) I now have an electrical issue i.e. they tell me the electrical needs replacement. :(

I am curious did the garage offer you a price for it if you sold it to them??
