jeep steering pump loud noise
 

when ever it gets cold out 0 or below the steering pump really makes alot of noise but when it is warm out no problems just wanted to know if there were any tricks to make it go away or that try adding some canadian tire snake oil but no help any help would be great thanks

are you sure its the steering pump and not the belt? Or the tensioner? Or the Steering Shaft?

Also make sure your fluid is topped up properly.

There are no tricks or tips, as I know my steering box is going.

I put a '99 Durango steering box into my 2000 TJ after the oem steering box developed a leak.
Direct bolt on, and 33% stronger than a stock box,
I would highly suggest this modification to any jeep owner...
