I have an 03 tj sport no ashtray, just the top of dash center near windshield for junk or cb mount 2 in console at handle for handbrake and 2 behind console. all for cups. Cigarette light - no ashtray. Go to ctc and buy a small one and hook unto lower part of window frame.

You could probably do some cutting and fit an ashtray in the dash...or maybe bolt one under dash just to the right of the console. I'm sure a junkyard would have some donor parts available. Had a 72 Impala years ago that had a flip down butt bucket which was just bolted to the bottom side of the dash.

Factory install is the little flip-top unit that goes in the center console cup holder. Canadian tire has quite a few ashtrays that will fit in the cup holder(that's what I use)

cheers
