Headlights shut off with Ignition Question
 

I own a 2004 TJ Rubicon. I also own a newer car that has the headlights shut off when you shut the ignition off. Jeeps don't do that and because I'm used to auto shut off lights, i'm killing my battery. The headlights stay on when the jeep is shut off, i need that changed. I would like to re-wire the headlights so that they shut off when the ignition key is in the off position. Has anyone done this task yet? Can you offer insight before i rip into the wiring diagrams?

Thats weird, my Daytime running lights only come on when I've reached a certain speed albeit very slow and always shut off with the ignition, i think something else has gone wrong there, everything should go off with your ignition or very shortly after as in the case of newer vehicles.

Try changing your headlight relay with your horn relay (same size) and see if the headlights work properly, it could be just starting to go on you.
