So, tires rubbing can cause rubbing?
I put these MotorMaster AW on my jeep, and I'm getting the same rubbing and binding when doing slow sharp turns too. Could it also be my tires causing the problem. The noise is worse in 4WD mode.

Yes, if it didnt start till you installed new tires thats most likely the problem. You need a spacer kit. Or do what I do, dont take sharp turns. If I have to I take 3 point turns.

Yeah, I installed narrower tires, but still according to the manual. It's somewhat counter-intuitive. You narrower tires would have more clearance space.
