Canada Good Deal?

Hey folks.

So I bought a Pathfinder about a month ago (I know) and it turned out to be a bad deal. I didn't look into it enough and it turned out it has a bad frame. I'm not talking a huge burn on the deal and am going to at least salvage the new tires on it (31" M/t) and part of the rest of it.

I'm currently looking into this jeep: http://fredericton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-SUVs-trucks-vans-1992-Jeep-for-sale-new-price-W0QQAdIdZ138027340

What do these go for? Is this a good year?

Thanks.

P.S I'm headed back into the jeep world hopefully for good banana:

well that back bumper looks a little off, id check it out for frame damage, it probably wouldn't be anything you couldn't get pulled (like in a minor fender bender) or just ignore...

#1 thing to do is get low...look for the rust, up on the north shore we've got quite a few 92's up here going for $1500 because of the rust damage, so id take a looksee... but its looking pretty good, if the frame is in good shape 3k sounds real good, especially if the 4.0 is still running strong (i had a 89 cherokee with 280k MILES)

Yeah I was wondering about the bumper actually.

I think I might even get it put on a lift and get a really good look at it. I'm not trusting peoples word anymore or just my eyes lol.

Is there anything about this year that I should worry about?

i know alot of people still wheeling them around, 92's were a very good year IIRC, if its been maintained, and not abused (which looking at the pics im having a real hard time finding dings and dents i've seen on other's then its looking like the money...) theres a 92 Rio Grande for sale in dalhousie, 4 banger 5speed, with lift and decent tires thats asking 4500 and is in real good shape, on mellow trails nothing crazy...
not all jeepers were heavy off-roaders, rather than a reliable winter commuter, or maintained trail riders lol and thats what this one is looking like...

my WJ on the other hand has been in 3 wrecks, and doesn't have a spot of rust on it... i could fool some people with it for sure so its best to give it a real good once over in person

I'm also looking into this right now:

http://fredericton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-SUVs-trucks-vans-jeep-cherokee-W0QQAdIdZ138134319 (XJ)

I'm probably going to make another post. I'm more interested in this anyways right now. I could just throw my 31"s on it and go.

I might have to talk him down a bit though...

LOL so long as the RCMP dont give you a hard time about the inspection haha...

my buddy has a car from NS and the RCMP are giving him a hard time... mind you he drives like an idiot..

but yea XJ's are good i dont find he's asking toooo much depends on all the condition of everything... if he's swapped wheel bearings you know its been offroad for sure haha

but with the fart pipe and neon in the back lol... thats worth the extra money? right

Ha no I would actually take that off right away lol.

Its from the states so it has a mint floor and frame. He is also got a bit of work on the suspension and some front and rear end parts.
