Default Fresh Air Vents

This is more of a question then anything I have never tried yet. Has anyone ever installed fresh air vents on the drivers and pass sides
near the floor. Years ago our Mack trucks used to have them on each side near the floor... since the AC fade these disappeared.. now you
will see them in the sleepers. I am not looking for ones quite as large but something someone might have installed for more fresh air onto
the feet in the summer for those without AC. They have to close tight in winter or if you happen to be boarding water. Any pictures of a job
done.. One suggestion I did receive was though the door, but the window track is to close to the edge of the frame to fit it there.

Great idea.I used to drive a 99 Mack that had a small 2 way vent in the roof, pull air in or suck air out depending which way you opened it.Same vent near the floor, drivers side.

A picture of the vent installed on a jeep would be nice, as I have yet to install anything as haven't found exactly what I would like and fit. It has to be water proof when closed too
