Check the idler pulleys, alternator,water/power steering pumps, somethings starting to seize.

Re: fan belt or pulley?

Is the '04 a spring style tensioner?

Maybe it is a little gummed up or not pulling hard enough on the belt?

Might just need a new tensioner?

I do believe the '04 has a tensioner, my '98 has a nut to tighten the belt but I do believe that changed after '99, 2000 and up have the tensioner pulley.

Yeah, my '06 is a spring style but I know the older ones were manual adjustment at the power steering pump.

I have come across many improperly operating spring style tensioners in my time, but without seeing...?
