drivers side windsheild wiper problem
I have changed my wiper blades a few times and still have the same problem with the drivers side wiper. It doesn't clear the window vary well and makes it hard to drive in rainy or snowy conditions. The passenger side always seems to work great and my passengers can always see nice and clear but I can't see shyte! Has anyone had this problem?

Re: drivers side windsheild wiper problem
The motor is on the right side so the blower blows stronger on that side, plus the cuts in the venting for the windshield suck Years ago they used to run a cut from the pass to the drivers side which worked well, but progress came around and f...ked it up. Do make sure that the venting pipe going to the drivers side is connected, sometimes it comes off. Other than thats I think your in the same boat as the rest of us.

J_P,
Have you tried changing the wiper arm itself? If the spring is weakening, that will cause poor cleanage (???? new word?) Savasa |

Re: drivers side windsheild wiper problem
mine was doing the same thing its always on drivers side but all i did and it happend 2 on my 05 rubicon what happend the arm moved out on the motor shaft like 2 or 3 mm so the spring wasent doing any thing so all i did was hit the arm back down right at the base where it mounts to the motor with my hand a few times on the side of the road and the whiper worked fine if reel stiff or lots of rust try using a dead blow or rubber mallet and be gentle!!! flip the whipers up so u dont acadently hit the arm and bend it but give it a shot hopfully it helps

your wiper may not be sitting tight against the wiper pivot.
There is a little tab that holds the wiper, pull it out, push the wiper closer to the tub and re-install the tab Attachment 4899 Attachment 4900 Attachment 4901 Attachment 4902 |
