Hey, i'm new to the jeep thing, just bought a 97' tj but the passenger side fender is rusted beyond my capabilities to fix it, anyone know of a good place to find new or used ones, i'm located in the kitchener area, or if anyone has an extra one lying around by chance, color is moss green pearl coat, but i am willing to paint.

lol.. that sucks.. I am in the same boat.. except now both are rusting out.

I have seen them for sale on eBay.. like 225 a pop.. hope that helps??

ouch thats pricey for ebay, a little outa my range though. I might have to buy some bondo and try and do it myself, there's always a first for everything.

rather than fix my fenders, I poked holes in the rust to make em bigger, then I covered the whole thing in .125 checker plate, facing down. Looks okay.. need to tweak a couple of things.

Try your hand at building some tube fenders , I did . Then I built 3 more set's for my buddy's.

The problem is they rust from the bottom up. There is another layer with some foam there and it soaks up water and salt and rusts out the fenders. Best thing to do is put on some tube fenders. You can get them for less than what the new fenders and paint etc. will cost.
