clunking in rear end 1997 jeep tj

hi i just bought a 1997 jeep tj and everytime i push the gas pedal fast or brake fast theirs a clunk in the rear end any idea of what it might be?

Get under it and grab the driveshaft and pull on it.... see if there is any movement in the U-Joints.....
