Default Any thoughts on why my jeep sways

Im wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on why my 2003 TJ sways. I have a 2 inch suspension and a 1 inch body lift on it. The tires are BFG MT's 33 12.5 15 and are fairly worn. Im not sure how else to explain this "swaying" but its especially bad when Im on the highway. If its at all windy, it makes things 10x worse. It feels like any little groove in the road is gonna send me in the wrong direction or if I hit a big enough gust of wind Id be thrown. I've googled my heart out as Im not very mechanically inclined. I am learning and would very much appreciate some thoughts on this as my children are often driving with me and Im getting pretty nervous. ps. it seems to gradually be getting worse.

You're driving an aerodynamic brick on 33's. Check the track bar mouting bolts front and rear, check also ball joints and tre's

Thanks so much, I kinda thought about that ( mostly cause of the whole "sway" word ) lol. I dont have much of an idea what Im looking for but Im gonna print off a suspension parts diagram that I found on the internet and kinda go from there... probably straight to a mechanic. Thanks again, Rainy

I was having a similar problem only I noticed it more cornering. I double checked my sway bar connections and the one on the front passanger side had come out (the ball was sitting out of the bushing on the arm). I looked online to see whether this was a common problem and it appears to have happened to other people as well. I just popped it back into place and it has stayed so far, but most people say they needed to replace theirs

*it is a stock sway bar, no quick disconnects*

My 2004 TJ Sport had a sway! Changed tires from BFG to Goodyear Wranger from CTC. Seems to be gone now! Helped! Question: Did you have the sway before the lift kit? Mine is stock suspension!
