Post All Advice Appreciated

Hi, I just recently bought an 2003 Jeep TJ Sport. It's a manual transmission and every time I accelerate while in gears 4 or 5, I get a high pitch whine. It seems to be related to how much pressure I put on the gas pedal and I was wondering if this is a serious problem or if there are any quick fixes. This is the first Jeep I've owned and also the first manual vehicle as well so any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.

First off unless your mileage is over the 115,000 km which it isn't over the 7 years its still under warrantee on anything in OIL, So don't panic too much. I will see what I can find out and i am sure others will come in to reply when they read your post.

Where does the sound seem to be coming from, front, back, engine, differential, transmission??
Hard to diagnose without a little more information.

It seems to be coming from inside the cabin, more towards the front than anything else. It also seems to react to the position the gas pedal is in. It's a certain point when I press on the gas that it'll make the noise.
