2008 Jeep Wrangler TY

Where can I check the model type on the jeep.

My registration says it a TY not a TJ

I would say its a "Typeographical" error on your registration.
If the serial number of the Jeep agrees with your registration
Then all's good.

A 2008 wouldn’t be a tj ,it would be a jk model .
