Default 2005 LJ Half doors

Anyone knows where I can get a pair of half doors for a 2005 LJ at a decent price? The ones you find in the local (GTA) stores are quite steep, be it soft lowers, soft 2-pieces, tubular, hard, you name it, they all go from about $250 and up (way up, this price would be for just the soft lowers!). I'd rather get something that can convert to a full door if needed (i.e. with soft uppers), but just the lowers would suffice in a pinch. Even used would be great, I tried eBay and Kijiji and no luck so far.

As an alternative solution, I have a drive planned for Detroit next weekend, anyone knows of any stores around there that may sell them?

Thanks a bunch for your help!

Default Re: 2005 LJ Half doors

If you are looking just for doors, you should look in scrap yards. I mean I guess you can fit any half doors of a TJ (LJ) from '97 to '06?? I doubt someone will get rid of half doors like this since it is so hard to find. But to have some people that did not take good care of their Jeep and sent it to the grave with half doors in good condition, that is possible. Good luck in your search :)
