2001 TJ maintenance costs
 

I bought my 2001 TJ SE new. Four cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission. I hadn't done much to it maintenance wise outside of the normal oil changes and tires. It's got 250,000k on the odometer. Two years ago I had the front fenders replaced and front end painted for $2,000. I picked up my Jeep from our local mechanic, the other day, who replaced bearings, shocks, U-joints, fluids, brakes and a few other odds and ends for $2,500.
$4,500 for 20 years. $225 per year.
I'm a happy Jeeper.

Nice.. I just had all my rust removed or repaired holes in the body plus the tub frame was well part of it wasn't there anymore
A real nice job at a reasonable price with 4wp Mtl shop.. and she looks really nice too. I think I have some pics on my
profile the before and after. We try and keep it for as long as we can, I am at 197,000k
