2001 TJ light problems
Headlights won't turn off, high beam indicator won't go off, taillights won't work, signals won't work. Have checked several fuses. What could it be??

Re: 2001 TJ light problems
Morning,
Sounds to me it may be a fused (as in seized open or closed) relay somewhere. When trouble shooting ANY electrical problem I always start with the simplest/cheapest things first. You're off to a good start with the fuses. Other suggestions would be: check for corrosion in connectors, check your grounds, check for worn/broken wires at friction points. Hope you find the problem and you have a warm place to work. It's starting to get chilly in VA this time of year. Peter |
Re: 2001 TJ light problems
what have you done to it recently?Anything?Nothing?
I ran into a similar problem on a friend's Jeep, the problem stemmed from when he connected an electronic brake for a trailer-skinned a wire he shouldn't have and caused an intermittent short circuit. |
