Ck axles, u might have disc on rear too, ck diff's d35/d30 might have 4.10's (nice to have)might even have a dana 44. find out if its been offroading (if so) then check it over very carefully for broken/bent frame.ck for oil leaking from diff's, transfer cast, road test it while move down the road (dirt road) not too fast put it into 4 high make sure it goes in easy and out again (no clunk sound) at a full stop place it into 4 low and drive a little (on dirt road)
6500 for a 2000 with 200k doesn't sound to bad a price. Mine is a 03 tj it had 190K 3 yrs ago for ard 10.
Ck for 2 tops (soft and hardtop) Ck the heater make sure it works properly kicks heat and defrost.

Like Mr. White said. Crawl underneath and make sure it hasn't been beaten. Make sure 4hi and 4 lo work properly. Look for rust and/or rust shoddy repairs. Look for leaks. Question everything. Drive it. If anything feels off, stay away unless you are sure what the problem is and can deal with it.
200K is not a lot, but it's getting up there. I bought my little 4 banger for 5k with only 145000 on the clock. Shop around and be patient.

Did you buy it? Got one about a month ago. Got a thorough inspection done before hand. Problem areas on mine were leaking differential seals front and rear. Leaky oil pan gasket or rear main seal. Fixed the diffs but not the oil pan leak.
Seems a little pricey...picked up a 1999 wit 52000 on it for 8k... but with that said my cherokee had 245000 on it was running strong still when I sold it.
