1997 Jeep Need Help. New Member
 

Happy New year to all!!

I just joined this forum hoping to get some help. I currently own a 97 TJ. Its my 3rd jeep. Ill post pics of all soon.

Problems im having:

1. Driver side upper and lower ball joints are done and are stuck pretty hard. Mechanic says whole drive shaft and U joints have to come off in order to get at them. Also apparantly the MOOG ball joints are 140 plus taxes. Does anyone know a good source for parts?

2. MY clutch pedal loses pressure once in a while. Got it checked by mechanic. Said its the slave cylinder. Ordered new one changed. He said he bled the system. Now my clutch is worse than before. I have to pump like a clown to get it in gear.

3. I was suppose to head to Algonquin last saturday for New years. Went to mechanic on friday. By the end of it im 180 dollars short. New slave and basically no clutch and really bad ball joints.

4. Is there a good mechanic in the mississauga region i can take my jeep to? My throw out bearing has started to make noise as well.

Did you get this resolved yet? If not take your rig over to staangs fab in Burlington, he is fair and will fix it up right. Google it he has a website.
