yellow shift light driving me crazy

Does anyone know an easy (or complicated) way to disable the yellow shift
light on my 99 wrangler? I've considered an ice pick and hammer...

Re: yellow shift light driving me crazy

I removed the instrument cluster and removed the bulb from its socket. It
took 15 minutes to get the cluster out, 10 minutes to get it put back
together.

Small bit of black tape over the light. :)
