Wrangler hardtop bolts
Does anyone know where I can find replacement bolts for holding on my
'99 Wrangler hardtop? I've managed to lose a few over the years and it is getting near the season for putting it back on. Thanks! |
Re: Wrangler hardtop bolts
The bolts are nothing special, just go get six matching bolts at your
local hardware store! dwelzel@yahoo.com wrote: > Does anyone know where I can find replacement bolts for holding on my > '99 Wrangler hardtop? Re: Wrangler hardtop bolts
I had to replace several on my YJ. The bolts are standard 5/16" NC
thread, use grade 5. The nuts are special so you don't need a wrench. I made some out of a piece of galvanzied "------er bar" used on chain link fences at the gate post. About 1/4" x1/2". Cut into 1" chunks, drill and tap 5/16-16 dwelzel@yahoo.com wrote: > Does anyone know where I can find replacement bolts for holding on my > '99 Wrangler hardtop?
