WJ Timing chain

Wife has a 99WJ Limited and is telling me that she needs to get the timing
adjusted before she hits 70,000 mi. Having only a vague mechanical
knowledge myself, I turn to the collective experts....

Is there any truth to this? Would this normally be done durring a tune-up?

TIA,

Chad

Hi Chad,
Your wife's thinking of the rice burners she drove that if you
didn't adjust their rubber band timing belt it would bend her valves,
tell her you're driving an American designed car that uses genuine steel
timing chains.

I think the closest she has drive to a rice burner was an Eagle Talon...
79 Chevy Caprice Classic
84 Buick Skylark
90 Eagle Talon
98 Ford Thunderbird
