Re: Why we get harsh with Bill

Dave,

We don't use it so much for passenger cars and light trucks, but all serious
cargo hauling uses diesel here. We are still only paying $3.00 to $3.25 a
gallon for regular, which works out to about $0.80 a liter. Historically,
we have paid a lot less, which has allowed us to use gasoline/petrol for all
but the heaviest uses.

Note that a 250-300 pound American woman, carrying a load of beef, potato
chips, beer, pork rinds and three or four seriously overweight children,
requires something heavier. That is why the larger club cab pickups are
starting to come with diesel engines. That and posing.

Heh, the TJs load carrying capability is 800lb for all occupants including
driver, which would quite likely be exceeded with 4 big blokes in it.
Perhaps the D44 give it some more, but not anything DC are quoting on.
