what is WMS to WMS mean

We are all allowed to ask a few questions that we should know the answer to
right? Here is mine ( for the day ) when an axle width is measured WMS to
WMS what does that mean? Maybe the better questions is what does WMS stand
for? What points are they measuring from? What the stock WMS to WMS
measurement for a 83 CJ-7 both front and rear?

Sorry Fletcher, I relied after only reading your subject!

Didn't realize you were asking something a bit different.

As Bill aluded to, WMS to WMS basically is flange to flange.

Right, 13.17, 105, with many excuses such as traction, and running
out of gas. The Antique Drags is the only time I take out and play with
the other old men: http://www.----------.com/antiquedrags.jpg When I
butchered it back in '63 and until '66 it was the fastest thing on the
street, then I was drafted, and when I got back, Camaro was selling an
eleven second car right off the show room floor. That and wife was
pregnant spelled the end of drag racing.
