Blew a u-joint today on my 93yj 2.5l on the rear driveshaft.
I want to pull the output shaft out to make the job easier but what is it
that fits snuggly in there to hold the fluid in? I know there's been
mention of a soda can or something?

That's if you have to drive it, while the slip joint is removed.
