Washer fluid low

1994 Cherokee 2,1TD (I know wan't happen again)

Got the warning light "low washer fluid", (it was half empty) I refilled,
but still the light is On.
Tried to check why, but could not find any reason, checked all the fuses as
well.
Any suggestions ?

Thanks for all help. (not a big deal, but always nice when things work as it
is supposed to do)

Best Regards

Clean the float switch connections. Could be it's corroded.

If it's like the one on my 96 there's a float think inside the tank. When
the float dropps doen from a bump or whatever it gets stuck. Another bump
MAY allow it to float again. If you get tired of looking at the light pull
the connector. Also a dirty connector will not cause it to come on. It works
the other way around.

If it's like my Fords there're two electrodes at the end of wire
accessed through that pop top, plates about an inch long parallel to
each other, that corrosion eat mine completely off in ten years. That's
using Kalifornia's hard water, if I ever use the recommended fluid with
a mixture of antifreeze they'd probable be like new copper plates.
