Warn Manual Hub Conversion
I am in the process of installing the Warn Manual Hub Conversion on my 89 YJ
Front Axle. I have the warn high strength axle shafts too. Anyway, the wheel studs that came in the kit are not the ones listed on the parts list. The parts list says Bendix Part 142092. The boxes I got say Bendix Part 142024. What I do not know is what Year, Make and model vehicle the 142092 studs fit. The kit says to purchase Front rotors for a 80-86 CJ7. Lookups on the vehicle do not cross to the 142092 Bendix number. The parts stores I have gone to (NAPA and SALVO) cannot use the Bendix number to look up the studs. Does anyone know what year, make and model these studs come from? This is for the 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Any help is greatly appreciated. P.S. I have contacted 4WD Hardware, where I ordered the kit from, but they are checking with Warn and who knows how long that will take or if it will even produce any positive results. Thanks, Doug. |
Re: Warn Manual Hub Conversion
Why don't you try calling Warn directly?

Re: Warn Manual Hub Conversion
I do not know about your studs. Sorry.
But I am wondering if youare going to run into unintended problems, 5 on 5.5 in the front and 5 on 4.5 in the back. While you are ordering those new 5 on 5.5 hubs for the rear, take a stud with you and match it up to a lug nut. Re: Warn Manual Hub Conversion
No worries... I have already converted my rear axle (D44) to a full floater
with Warn premium locking hubs and 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern. Matt suggested I call Warn directly, and that is more original course of action for tomorrow. Thanks for all of your input.
