Valve Seals completed with Success!!!

Well, I got through changing out all my valve seals with success. Got the
thing back together and tested it out and don't see a bit of smoke coming
out the tail pipe. Ran at idle for 15 minutes or so and didn't see a bit.
I did that before when I only had one cylinder done and still saw smoke so
I'm going to let it sit overnight and then we'll see for sure tomorrow but
I'm feeling pretty confident. Also, when I tested it after completing one
cylinder it ran pissy and it's much smoother now.

I got a little jeweler's file and filed off the lip off the ones that needed
it (about 6 altogether) so I could get the valve seals on. Another person
told me these little lips occur sometimes when the head has been worked on
and the mechanic used a quickie way to get the keepers off when the head is
off the engine. He said, with the head off the engine they put something
underneith the valve for support and whack the spring with something and the
keepers fly off. Sometimes he said the keepers don't fly off as should be
and so the pressure causes a little lip/rim at the area of the keeper
threads. Anyway, the file trick worked and everything went well.

I'm in the middle of putting a lift kit on so I couldn't take it out for a
spin. Hopefully by tomorrow's end I'll get that completed and I can road
test.

Thanks to all my virtual Jeep buddies who helped me on this. Couldn't have
done it without you.
