used winch help
 

I'm buying a used warn winch, is there a fuse or anything that goes
between winch and battery or is it just direct hookup. Want to test winch
but don't want to fry it if there is supposed to be something between. 8274
model if that matters.

They mount direct. You could use booster cables to hook it up.
