Unstable fuel gauge - XJ
Have 'bouncing' unstable fuel gauge in 86 XJ.
When vehicle is not moving all is stable, when moving gauge needle bounces - all over the place. Whats the 'problem' - gauge or sending unit? thanks |
Re: Unstable fuel gauge - XJ
Or short, or bad connect, if it bounces towards fuller than it is,
it's grounding. Trace your harness. Thanx .....
I DO have a 'problem' in my firewall disconnect plug ... just about everything else is bypassed ... so one more wont be a problem. Will check the grounds first. Thanx again.
