Turbo City Adjustable Timing Sensor - Installation info wanted
I'm considering the Turbo City Adjustable Timing Sensor for my '97 TJ
I'm interested in the installation details of this item. Is is just a bolt on replacement or is some sort of detailed adjustment necessary? From the photograph that I have seen, it looks to me this there is some degree of freedom in the installation with the elongated and slotted holes. How were you determine the amount of change in the timing from stock? Could a timing light be used to determine the change? TIA Dan |

Hi Dan,
Seems like a waste to me: http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/electronic.html if you could slide the Crank Case Sensor mounted position forward a quarter of an inch, that would only be a half a degree advanced. Of course, you may use a timing light any time, just pull the plug to throw it into the limp mode for an accurate initial reading. Jeep's brain box can be scanned and re-programmed with the DRB-II tool. There's a three up on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2454791809 God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ Dan Moore wrote: > > I'm considering the Turbo City Adjustable Timing Sensor for my '97 TJ > > I'm interested in the installation details of this item.
