i just put a 304 in place of a 2.5. i had to bore new holes for the
bellhousing to fit the 4 speed. also the shaft size is diff. the v8 had a 1
1/16 ten spline. the 4cyl had a 1 1/8 ten spline. pilot bearing is diff.
clutch/tob, all the electronics/ lower motor mounts. guess what? i have some
parts you need! this jeep is an 80 & the 304 came out of a 77. the swap
is possible but im not going to try to talk you into it to sell you some
parts.

Not sure of the years but you probably had the GM four cylinder, which is a
completely different engine and transmission than the 1995.

Not sure of the years but you probably had the GM four cylinder, which is a
completely different engine and transmission than the 1995.
