Transmission Dip Stick

2000 Grand Cherokee 4.0, auto trans.

The auto transmission dip stick won't stay pushed in to cover the opening
of the fill tube.

The dip stick has the covering cap which fits over the fill tube, and
appears to not be damaged in any way.

Anyone had this problem - how do you fix it?

Re: Transmission Dip Stick

The dip stick may have a bend along it's flat side. Pull it and
flip it a hundred and eighty.
