Not familliar with your specific vehicle but I think it's safe to say that
it will slide out. You'll know as soon as you look at it. If there are no
clamps or bolts at the front end remove the rear and pull. Before you
remove the shaft grab hold of it at the transfer case end and move it up and
down. In many cases the seal is worn/leaking because the bushing that the
driveshaft yoke turns in is worn. If you detect any amount of appreciable
movement replace the bushing along with the seal. There is a tool used to
remove the bushing once the driveshaft is off. It is a springloaded type
sleeve that slides in in place of the yoke and once in grabs the edge of the
bushing. There's a bolt in the centre that tightens against the output
shaft and pulls the puller out with bushing as it's tightened. If you don't
have one of these tools and can't rent or borrow one you would have to
remove the tail housing off the transfer case and remove the bushing with
hammer and chisel or the like. No sure what's involved in removal of your
tailshaft, but can sometimes be somewhat involved.
