Rubber and OEM.

I tried to use aftermarket engine mounts and they wouldn't last a
season. The local Jeep shop recommended OEM. They did last this
long....

I have been told by lots that the poly mounts are way to stiff and
transmit too much vibration.

In order to remove the belly pan (assuming its never been removed):

1) Spray all bolts to the frame with PB Blaster (or equivalent)
2) Wait one day
3) Spray all bolts to the frame with PB Blaster (or equivalent)
4) Wait one day
5) Spray all bolts to the frame with PB Blaster (or equivalent)
6) Wait one day
Repeat as necessary.

Re: Tranny Mount install?

Before I did all that, Jim, I'd go ahead and spray some PB blaster on
the bolts.

Re: Tranny Mount install?

Hey Guys,
If the Pan you are referring too is the skid plate, I had that off about two
years ago when I replaced the T-case. When I reinstalled the plate I used
new bolts and anti-seize paste. They should free up okay. If the bolts
that are in question are the ones for the mount itself, I plan to bathe
those quite generously for a few days. Similar to when I replaced both
intake/exhaust manifolds.

Thanks again all!!!

Paul
