Trailer wiring for 98 Cherokee

What is the "simple" way to wire the plug for a samll utility trailer?
Brakes and turn signals only! Do I need to go into each rear light of
the Jeep, or is there a ready made spot to splice into?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
You need an adapter, that I believe has diodes in it:
http://www.accessconnect.com/trailerwiring.htm Also sold at any auto
parts store.

Direct plugin. The T junction is on the driver's side, in the body well
behind the spare tire. You have to remove the spare and the plastic to
get to it, but it's a plug and chug installation.
