Towing with a 97 cherokee

Cherokee 4.0l in Australia.

I'm just a bit curious about whether or not the standard tranny has
enough cooling capacity for towing in +40Degree Celsius weather. I'm
thinking a 16 foot caravan, with continuous day driving.

If not, is there an aftermarket cooler? Is it effective?

Well here's a site to get you started that's informative ...
http://www.uhaul.com/hitches/transmission-cooler.html ... my understanding
.... if towing, put on a cooler.

Re: Towing with a 97 cherokee

Add a cooler. Should be rather cheap. I think I had mine added for less than
US $200.
