tires
 

merry christmas guys, will 17 inch tires and rims of course (p245 75 rs) fit
on my 2001 cherokee sport. i had a price on some 16 inch size tires but
thought it was highand found some rims and tires off of a 2007 wrangler the
guy said.. thanks john jr

My calculator says that tire is roughly a 31 x 9.50. The tire should fit
okay. I don't know about the rim -- there are issues of offset (back
spacing) and lug nut spacing that I can not answer.

You could fit a 31 x 9.50 onto the factory rims, if you wanted to do that,
without making any changes to your Cherokee. So, these tires will fit your
truck, assuming the rims are compatible.

Check the hole pattern before you buy to make sure it fits. Wrangler
should have changed by '07 to what the Cherokees did in '02 from five on
four an a half inches to five on five inch, like:
