Sam, My brothers-in-law live in Manistee County (Lower Penin.), which gets plenty of snow. Because of the price, they tried Cooper tires. I believe that they first had an all-terrain tread, but now have settled on the Discoverer M+S. They have a rather soft rubber compound which makes them terrific in snow and on ice.
