It will be under a little tension when installed. Prior to starting the engine, move the throttle plate full open/closed and check for any binding. If it binds then the TPS sensor isn't in correctly. Also before starting the engine, turn the ignition on then slowly run the throttle plate back and forth between full open and closed. Stopping for a few seconds at full open and full closed. That speeds up the computer learning the new TPS. -- -- DougW -- 93 ZJ 4.0 http://revbeergoggles.com HESCO Supercharger - 300W IASCA Stereo - Edelbrock IAS Shocks Gibson Exhaust - rear DCpower - custom gauge install - Stillen Rotors Banks Header - and BEER, in the fridge! |

Re: throttle position sensor
Why did you do that? Did you get a Code that told you that you needed one?

Re: throttle position sensor
it's a 3wire sensor that is mounted opposite of the throttle cables
