Re: Three new Jeeps - Aug 1966
Marine Corps, 3rd 8" Howitzer Battery. This camp (head quarters
platoon) provided the southern most security for the construction of the airstrip at Chu Lai, RVN. Our three gun platoons ranged from north of Quang Ngai City (10 miles further south) to Tam Ky (10 miles north). I cropped and enlarged the picture of our 'real' jeeps. http://www.msosborn.com/year66/Camp/..._32b_adj_x.jpg I've been scanning my old slides and ran across these and thought you guys might like to see them.
