Three new Jeeps - Aug 1966
 
We replaced our Korean war vintage Jeeps with these in Aug 1966.

Marine Corps, 3rd 8" Howitzer Battery. This camp (head quarters
platoon) provided the southern most security for the construction of
the airstrip at Chu Lai, RVN. Our three gun platoons ranged from
north of Quang Ngai City (10 miles further south) to Tam Ky (10 miles
north).

I cropped and enlarged the picture of our 'real' jeeps.
