I can't think of an instance where I couldn't loosen the red Loc-tite,
or any other color, with a hand tool.

Mechanically, Loc-Tite will prevent the antenna from loosening again
from vibration. Electrically speaking, I would be careful not to use
very much Loc-Tite since there needs to be good solid metal-to-metal
contact for the antenna to work.

I usually have better luck with just a dab of Contact Cement, again
taking care not to get too much to avoid insulating the needed ground
plane contact.
