<tr> <td width="100%" align="center"> <h1 align="center"><font color="#800000">1972 Jeep Wagoneer</font></h1> <h4 align="left"><font color="#FF0000">I don't have the time or the money to sink into this gem. I'd love to be able to. I don't have the time to part it out either. I'm asking $100. I drive it to and from work about 180 miles and I have it registered and insured. I have a good title. This Jeep is in Chattanooga, TN and I drive a truck over the road. Arrangements to coordinate a meeting time will have to be made. I'll need to give a 10 day advance notice for time off and will have a 2-3 day window. Here's a description and list of every thing that is significantly wrong with it. Approximately 164,000 miles on the odometer.<br> <br> 4 speed manual transmission with hi/low range and lock out hubs. First gear is a granny and in low range it creeps along at a snails pace.<br> <br> Gets about 12 mpg on hwy. Got 20mpg when I first bought it.<br> Fairly new radiator and engine runs cool.<br> Needs tie-rod end.<br> Leaky valve seals.<br> Leaks/burns oil.</font></p> <p align="left"><font color="#000000">New exhaust system<br> <br> Power steering box leaks. Power steering pump doesn't want to stay bolted on. For some reason one bolt has broken each time I replace it.<br> <br> Gasoline filler tube leaks at the fuel tank. Leaks only if the fuel tank is filled to capacity and the car is on an incline.<br> <br> Differential yoke needs replacing. The u-joint is loose in the socket. I'm currently using shims to keep it snug.<br> <br> Rocker panels have rust and part of the left quarter panel has fallen off at the rocker panel level because of rust.<br> <br> No major structural collision damage but lots of dents on most of the car.<br> <br> Emergency brake doesn't work and needs repair.<br> <br> Has new clutch and throw-out bearing but the new throw-out bearing makes noise.<br> <br> Gas gauge doesn't work. I always keep a 5gal can full in the back just in case.<br> <br> The shifter stick has a pin in it where it is connected down inside the transmission to keep it from spinning around when shifting and that pin is broken.
