I dunno.. Don't care much for syntetic beer.

Oh.. Jeep fluids.. silly me.

I run synthetic oil but regular tranny/diff fluids.

As long as you do your changes at reasonable intervals you will be fine
whatever you run. I run synth in my Ford but not in my high mileage Jeep.

Synthetics are great products, but they should not be used if you have an
oil consumption or leakage problem. Synthetics will leak in spots that
conventional lubes will not.

Synthetics are great products. They are so hideously expensive
that you are likely to get off your hindquarters and fix that
doggone leak or consumption issue that you really should have
fixed when it was merely wasting dinosaurs.

Waste of time and money. We are talking about a rough and ready
American mass-production engine here, not some high performance
European sports sedan. It's like 93 octane gasoline: An absolute
waste of cash if you don't really need it.

Re: Synthetic oils,fluids question.

I would agree... I think spending the money on changing a regular petroleum
based oil 3 times as often is better than big money in synthetics. Besides,
the dirt/grit off-road turns both petrol, and synthetic into lapping
compound... much better to change often, IMO, for what that is worth.
